They bring all the nerds to the yard, and they're like....how much for that random new shiny! That's right, Bludgefest has returned for 2019 and it was glorious!
So much random shit and so much fun. Amazing!
I myself may have traded some toys and cash for a copy of Man o' War and Plague Fleet....keep an eye out!
As always, games played as well. We had some 40k, some Flames of War, Batman and also Dead Man's Hand as well.
Glen and I tested a couple of lists for the upcoming NZTC in April.
And I left my actual painted Redemptor at home. Fucking dumb!

Batman is still taking people's imaginations and games into Gotham, which is so awesome! Such a good game!
A couple of games of Flames of War also hit the tables.
And finally, Dead Man's Hand. This looks pretty cool to me, I might have to get a game in... Steve McQueen lost his head.
Yet again, a bloody good club meeting! We should do this again sometime!
It was the last TCOW of 2018 and we thought we'd arrange something a little different. We've done mega-battles in the past but we'd never done 40K...so why the hell not!
We'd originally planned for about 8 players, so 4 on 4, but the numbers dwindled slightly on the day and we only had 5....and SOMEONE had gone and brought Knights...
So, with Francis and his 3,500 points of Knights, Marines and Shield Captains on one side and Dave (World Eaters), Daryl (Death Guard), Jorin (Necrons) and me (Ultramarines) on the other, we just got into a slugfest!
A 12 x 4 table was used with a heap of LOS blocking terrain, not that it would make too much of a difference.
And away we went...

So, despite their massive firepower and our lack of high AP weapons, we managed to win the day! Great job Francis and what a great sport as well!
We also managed to have 2 Team Yankee and 1 Flames of War game played as well.

So there we have it! We've had a pretty bloody good 2018 at TCOW! New games, new people, new spoons...we've had it all!
A massive thanks to all players who graced us this year and to the people behind the scenes who make shit get done. You know who you are...
